Revised Initial Entry

Welcome to this first entry of my new blog. I am planning on switching over from my developerWorks blog Portal in Action in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Ok, it's official. I am going to start blogging again and using this as my primary communication vehicle. I have not been blogging for awhile as I focused more on books, but having finished this recent one, I have some time to catch up on some thoughts.

I should mention why I am switching from my developerWorks blog to here. Mainly becuase the old one is unusable. They were using some older software and I was not able to do some stuff. Recently they switched to use Lotus Connections which I was actually excited about, however something in the switch got screwed up and I can't log in to the account anymore. Support is actually pretty painful, so really the decision was made for me. Ha, ok, it sounds like I am complaining, but really I just wanted to explain the reason for this move. Now I only have myself to complain about.

Anyways, stay tuned for real as this site heats up over the next few weeks and months with the release of my new book.
